Insurance FAQ

Do you accept my insurance?
We are out-of-network providers, which means that we are not contracted with any health insurance companies. Payment for services is due up front. We can provide you with a super bill or invoice for reimbursement with your insurance plan. Being out-of-network allows us to provide individualized treatment without insurance companies requesting your personal  health information or dictating what type of treatment you can receive.

How much will my insurance reimburse me for your services?
All health plans vary and often changing. It’s difficult for us to keep track. Please check your benefits and what percentage of the fee you’ll be reimbursed by your plan.

How long does it take before I start receiving reimbursement?
Please call your insurance company regarding time frame of reimbursement. We would not know this information. I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your out-of-network benefits: Does my health insurance plan include out of network mental health benefits? If so, what is the reimbursement amount? Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet? Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept credit cards, cash, and checks. We require that a credit card be kept on file in case of late cancellations or no show, and payment is due at the time of our appointment. If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
